One of the terrific things about
wine is that it's made in some incredibly beautiful and culturally
rich places - like Burgundy.
Burgundy is in Eastern France a few
hours drive from Paris. The heart of the region is the Cote
D'Or which stretches from the city of Dijon southward through
many of the most famous wine villages and vineyards in the world.
This is a wine country visit to a
wine and food culture that prides itself on craftsmanship, individuality
and a connection to the land.
Enjoy the bustle of Dijon or the
quiet of staying in a 14th century former monastery; float the
canals by barge or bike through villages that seem to float in
the surrounding vineyards.
And you can taste. There are hundreds
of small growers whose doors and hospitality are open to you.
They share their love of chardonnay and pinot noir.
Burgundy is a must visit wine country
destination.
Pop the cork™.
