Off Season Wine Country Visit
Are you looking for a fun getaway
without lots of people, but plenty of cozy places to stay and
terrific food and wine? Ready? Because we have a trip
for you:
Think of an off season visit to Napa
or Sonoma. Late fall and winter in the wine country can
be an especially good time to visit. Sure there’s
not the excitement of the harvest and crush… but there’s
not the crowds either. So off season is a great time to
explore on your own terms.
It’s down time at the vineyard
and catch up time at many of the wineries. The tasting rooms
aren’t crowded and people have a lot more time to spend
talking about their wines. It’s the perfect time to
schedule special tastings, too.
Off season can be a little rainy
and cool so my favorite part is sitting by the fire and sipping
a discovery made that day.
