Riesling
and Food
Here's
a great match: spicy Chinese take out and a bottle of Riesling.
Wine with Chinese? You bet! Riesling is really
versatile and it's the perfect match to Asian spices. It's
really great with a shrimp cocktail or some smoked salmon - sure
not a bad way to start a meal.
Here's
a Riesling checklist:
- Spicy Asian
food
- Shrimp and
scallops
- "Smoky"
things like salmon and trout
- Summer salads
. . . lettuce, pasta, fruit . . . take your pick
- Grilled veggies
- Salty appetizers
like prusciutto or olives
Next time you're
ordering Mongolian Chicken, have a well-chilled bottle of Riesling
on hand.
