Ask
anyone, "What's the most romantic wine?" and they'll tell
you it's Champagne.
It
might be because we sip it at celebrations like weddings or special
events in our lives like engagements and anniversaries, and sometimes
during those quiet times with the one you love. Then again,
it may be just because of the bubbles!
Champagne
actually is made from still (no carbonation) wine. However,
this wine is then fermented again and given lengthy aging in the
bottle before being released. That's how the bubbles happen.
Maybe
it's the extra attention and time we give to serving and sharing
it as the cork is popped and the Champagne poured into those slender
flutes that heightens the moment. Maybe it's knowing that
it's just a little different - and special - that does it.
Or,
then again, maybe it's just the bubbles!
Pop
the cork™!
