When
a Good Wine Goes Bad
Every
once in awhile a bottle of wine becomes "corked" or "cooked"
or "turned".
Here
are a few clues:
- Funky is
good if you like disco but if the wine smells like your old socks,
toss it
- It's no good
if it tastes more like salad dressing than grape juice
- If the wine
smells like the cardboard box that you stashed your paperback
novels in, back it goes.
Trust your nose.
You don't have to be a wine pro to know if wine smells like fresh
fruit or a jar of old jam.
Pop the cork™!
