Bordeaux To Drink Now               Recommendations

When you hear the word "Bordeaux" what comes to mind?  To many of us that word has images of nose-in-the-air wine connoisseurs, arrogant waiters and snobby attitudes.

Mostly we think of Bordeaux as being very expensive and unapproachable.

But there are bunches of Bordeaux for under twenty-five dollars that you can drink right now - and definitely enjoy.

You just have to know where to look; which part of Bordeaux and where on the label.   So look for one of these three areas on the label, near the phrase "appellation contrôlée".

Lalande de Pomerol; St. Georges -St. Emilion; Fronsac.   Bordeaux are typically blends of mostly Cabernet and Merlot.   These three areas use mostly merlot in the wines, which gives them a softness that let's you pop the cork and drink them now.   Located near some of the greatest Chateaux, they're not as well known and therefore not as pricey.

They're our Bordeaux attitude adjustment wines!
