Thinking Outside the Bottle
People talk about "thinking outside
the box" when they're talking about being creative. Well many wineries
have begun to "think outside the bottle." So get ready for a wine
packaging revolution.
Already we have screwtops and synthetic
corks being used by lots of wineries. Soon wine in boxes will no
longer just mean the cheap stuff. And catch this: a recent survey
found that 52% of wine drinkers would drink their everyday wine
form a can!
The reason for the revolution?
Simple. Wineries want to make wine
more user-friendly and want to ensure consistent quality . . . and
packaging changes can do that.
Don't think that wine bottles with
natural corks are suddenly going away but there are alternatives
coming that make enjoying wine easier and, at the same time, keep
the wine fresh and unspoiled. What's wrong with that!?
We're all for making wine more fun
and accessible.
So
it's okay to "think outside the bottle" and still say "Pop the Cork™!"
Let us know what you think right
